Take the Tate-to-Tate boat

Whilst the Tate Modern is situated handily on the South Bank, a short walk from St Paul's and London Bridge, it can sometimes be a bit more of a trial to get to the Tate Britain.

The people at the Tate have long been conscious of this, however, and have teamed up with Thames Clippers to run frequent boats, with interiors and exteriors designed by Damien Hirst, between the two galleries.

Trips cost £5, or £3.35 with a travelcard and boats run every forty minutes during gallery opening hours. For more information, visit http://www.tate.org.uk/tatetotate/
