Originally the headquarters of the British Army's general staff and the formal entrance to St James's Palace and St James's Park, Horse Guards is guarded daily by the Household Cavalry, either on horseback or on foot between 10am to 4pm daily.

I love walking down to Westminster past the Horse Guards, I always pop in to have a photo with them and try and make them smile/laugh.
ReplyDeleteJust on the other side of the Horse Guards Parade is the Cabinet War Rooms and the Churchill Museum which is totally worth checking out
