"A single conversation across the table with a wise person is worth a month's study of books" and it's absolutely true.
We live in a city where too often we spend days sitting alone in uninspired silence at a flickering screen, before retiring to our houses to do the same. However, there are millions of people in London; people of all ages from all walks of life and from all over the world, who have fascinating stories to tell and from whom we could learn a great deal.
Your author has set up a group to encourage people to meet up for some interesting conversations with people they have never met, to enrich our lives and help us learn more about how the world works.
